I have pursued quite a few creative avenues in my life (singing, piano, salsa, tango, contact improvisation, opera, etc), and the probably latest of those is poetry. Before starting some 2 years ago, I didn't really enjoy poetry very much myself (there are some few exception however, e.g.,
"The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran, which I just adore). I have therefore tried to write the kind of poetry I myself would like to read. I have also used my writing as a sort of mirror, to reflect and portray my everyday thoughts and aspirations. This is also reflected in the title to my first collection "Dikter från Vardagen", which is Swedish and means approximately "Poems sprung from life". The collection contains 15 Swedish and 15 English poems, and a few of them are available below.
